Handmade, One-of-Kind mixed-media pendant. Dichroic glass fusion in addition to gold and silver leafing “collaged” with mixed metals and findings. So unique, it can not be duplicated. Initially, I melt dichroic and other various glass in my kiln. The next step is the layering technique over the glass to create depth and interest. Then I transform the creation into an assemblage with metals, wire, and other findings. The final step is applying a satin gloss enamel finish for protection. The entire procedure parallels the process of creating a fine art abstract painting or sculpture…all packaged in one small wearable piece of art.
The pendant measures approximately 2 inch x 1 inch.
Comes with a brass metal ball chain. This piece is easy and convenient to change out to different chains for variations in length and style.
There is definitely a front side and back side of the sculptural piece with the front being the finished side to show as worn. Please note that all my creations are unique and can have their own imperfections which intensifies the beauty of the handmade quality in which I like to work.
